Brooks Landegger recently joined American Ballet Theatre and has danced as a Principal Guest Artist for Czech National Ballet and New York City Ballet.
Born in New York, NY, Landegger began his training at School of American Ballet under Jock Soto, Arch Higgins, and Andrei Krameravsky. He performed the Children’s Repertory at New York City Ballet and starred nationally as an award-winning Billy Elliot. Landegger later joined Boston Ballet II under Peter Stark, where he was named a YoungArts Winner in Dance.
In 2022, Landegger joined Miami City Ballet under Lourdes Lopez. His first performance as Romeo was recognized by Pointe Magazine as a Standout Performance and Knight Foundation named Landegger an Arts Champion for his contributions to building the cultural community of South Florida. Additionally, Landegger has performed at Vail Dance Festival, Chautauqua Institute, The Joyce Theater, Works & Process, and for lectures at New York Public Library. His Repertory includes masterworks by George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins, in addition to world premieres and full-lengths such as Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and Romeo in Romeo & Juliet. He has been featured in Live from Lincoln Center and The Art of Partnering with Peter Martins.
